When my wife and I decided to pursue the idea of a screened in back porch, we really had no idea what to expect. We decided to ask a few carpenters to help us bring our ideas to reality. Unfortunately, none of them instilled much confidence or added anything to our vision. Some of them even said they wouldn’t do it. Then we called Paul Miller with Take2 Custom Remodeling. Paul was more than eager to help us. In his first visit, he talked us through what he envisioned, and then quickly followed it up with photos of similar projects his team had done. Frankly, it was well beyond what we pictured. Once we agreed on a price (which was quite reasonable), Take2 got to work and delivered on everything they promised. The construction process wasn’t completely perfect, but we appreciated the fact that Paul’s team didn’t stop or move on until we were happy. I’ve worked with many contractors in my life, and for me, the true test is how the project ends. Did they deliver what they promised with the quality we expected? With Take2, my answer is, “Absolutely!” My wife and I love our new screened in porch and have recommended Take2 to many of our friends. And in a final testament to how good our new porch looks, one of the contractors who didn’t get the job asked me for Paul’s business card so he could send Take2 some work. It’s that good.

We met with Paul Miller in August of 2011 and discussed what we wanted in a 3 season room to be added to our home. Paul explained the engineering and permitting process. We agreed to proceed and shortly he came back with a complete set of plans. We chose the materials to match our existing home and approved the plan.
Construction was started and material was stored in our garage as construction progressed. Paul proceeded in a meticulous manner, paying attention to detail. He or his crew cleaned up each day and kept everything clean and neat both the worksite and our garage.
The result was an addition to our home that we are proud of and very pleased with. Several of our friends have commented that the addition looks like it was part of the original home construction.
In short we would be happy to recommend Paul Miller to anyone wanting to make an addition to their home.

Last year my husband and I purchased our first home. Its an older one definitely a fixer-upper. When we turned the water on the Pipes in the basement burst and we had an in ground pool. We have some friends that had used Take2 and Paul on their projects, and were very pleased with the results recommended them to us. Paul came out and new exactly what to do and was calm in helping to resolve the situation. We knew prior to purchase we were going to need to remodel the kitchen among other projects. So Paul worked with us on the design and we agreed on a price and moved forward. Not only did we get the kitchen and dining room remodeled, we added a Laundry room and half bath!
Paul was a pleasure to work with. He helped us in picking out materials and gave us ideas for things that would have never occurred to us. And no matter what issue came up, or change we made he maintained his composure and was very good at explaining things to us and keeping us informed as they went. They brought our home up to date and in compliance with to code.
The project is complete now “and it is phenomenal”! We couldn’t be more pleased with the quality of workmanship that was put into the job from start to finish. We plan on using Take2 for our future projects as well. We appreciate Paul and the Take2 team of professionals they have, and having the peace of mind that they aren’t cutting any corners.
Thanks for the great job!
Take2 Remodeling turned around our two bathrooms that needed a total overhaul. They not only went shopping with us to pick out the materials we wanted, but they worked tirelessly to get the job done right. They did everything from tiling, removing two tubs and replacing one with a shower that was an odd size, put outlets and exhaust fans in the rooms where there were none, and replaced the plumbing from galvanized to copper as needed. When we had things that needed minor adjusting, they came to our rescue without hesitation. Thank you Take2 and Paul Miller for doing a wonderful job and at a fair price within our budget.
